Hoosiers in Sports In-Person
Bruce Johnson will present a program about famous people from Indiana involved in basketball, football, and baseball, as well as auto, bicycle, and horse racing. Bruce Johnson is a native of La Porte, Indiana, and has degrees in Education from Ball State and Valparaiso Universities. Bruce currently serves as the La Porte County Historian through the Indiana Historical Society. He received the 2011 “Outstanding Educator Award” from the National Lincoln Highway Association and was selected by the American Legion of Indiana as the “Educator of the Year” for the state of Indiana in 2009.
