Little Town on the Big Prairie Exhibit
Stop by any time the library is open to view this new exhibit! New Carlisle, the little town on the hill, has evolved and changed with the times. From a rural farming community to a charming small town with locally owned restaurants and shops, the town has grown and evolved throughout history as advancements in technology, business, farming, manufacturing, and education have been made. This exhibit takes a look at these changes. Little Town the Big Prairie Exhibit has been a joint effort between Historic New Carlisle and New Carlisle-Olive Township Public Library.
This exhibit has been made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities.
