Winter Reading 2026: Ticket to Read
Read your way to new places this winter! Start in Chicago, and each 20 minutes you read counts toward a route across the United States. Earn a ticket for the prize drawings every time you arrive at a new city. And earn a bonus ticket by writing a book review!
Pick up a map of reading routes at the Library, and from January 1 to February 15, read your way across the map to earn virtual tickets for the grand prize drawings. Happy reading!
Prizes include the following experiences:
- A gift bag to enjoy at Full Tilt Arcade
- Sugar Camp Days Passes
- A gift bag to enjoy at the Potawatomi Zoo
- Ticket to Ride board games
- Entry for the Indiana Dinosaur Museum
- Tickets to ride the South Shore Line train
