Radon-Free Homes In-Person
Radon is a naturally occuring gas that can seep into homes though foundation cracks, sump pumps and floor joints. You can't see it, or smell it, but it's dangerous. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. 1 out of 4 homes have high radon levels in St. Joseph County. St. Joseph County Radon-Free Homes Initiative is coming to our library to talk about the dangers of radon in the home, how to lower the threat level in homes and will provide screenings and test homes for those interested. Why not utilize this great resource to make sure that your home is safe?
